Job summary

Guidant Financial is hiring a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist for a fully remote role. You will learn the complete process to administer, test and report on 401(k) plans and work with clients to keep them updated on progress and year-end reporting needs.

You will gain hands-on experience from document review to administering basic plans, with accelerated training and practical experience. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with 401(k) documents are favored.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.
• Experience with document review and transaction processing.
• Direct retirement-plan operations experience preferred.
• Knowledge of 401(k) plan structure and IRS/DOL regs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review client documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Reconcile plans using Excel and administration software.
• Perform 401(k) testing and reporting.
• Prepare IRS Form 5500 filings with filing software.
• Educate clients on 401(k) plan administration and documents.
• Provide training on Retirement Plan Administrator concepts.
