Job summary

Guidant Financial is hiring a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist to administer, test, and report on 401(k) plans from a home office. You will learn the full process through accelerated training, reviewing documents, and keeping clients updated on progress and year-end reporting requirements, including the Form 5500.

You will work with clients to gather required information, perform reconciliations, and use filing software to prepare government filings while expanding your knowledge of 401(k)

Qualifications

• Experience with document review and transaction processing in back-office financial operations.
• Experience with reconciliation as part of daily duties.
• Familiarity with 401(k) plan administration, reporting, and compliance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Obtain necessary information from clients to prepare annual reporting.
• Review client-submitted documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Reconcile plans using Excel and administration software.
• Perform 401(k) testing and reporting with filing software.
• Assist with IRS Form 5500 and year-end government filings.
• Educate clients on 401(k) plan administration.
