Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking a Remote Collections Specialist to join a nationwide team. The role focuses on negotiating resolutions, managing high-volume calls, and maintaining professional, compliant interactions with borrowers.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in third-party collections, strong negotiation skills, and bilingual English/Spanish communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening.
• Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip–tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Consistently work toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
