Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking experienced Collections Specialists to join a nationwide, 100% remote team. You will manage inbound and outbound calls, negotiate payment arrangements, and strive to maximize recovery while staying compliant with laws.

This role requires at least two years in third-party debt collections, strong communication, bilingual English/Spanish skills, and the ability to work in a high-volume, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third–party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a professional, distraction–minimized remote workspace suitable for confidential customer conversations.
• Experience working in a high–volume collections' environment.
• Familiarity with skip–tracing tools and collection management systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Previous experience consistently meeting or exceeding collection goals.

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiating payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' individual financial circumstances.
• Utilizing skip–tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and relevant assets.
• Managing assigned account portfolios and prioritizing collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Consistently working toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Delivering professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
