Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking experienced Remote Collections Specialists to join our team from home in the United States. Ideal candidates will handle inbound/outbound calls, negotiate settlements, and adhere to regulatory requirements while maintaining professional, confidential conversations.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in third-party debt collection, strong negotiation and communication skills, knowledge of debt collection laws, and familiarity with skip-tracing

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-minimized remote workspace suitable for confidential customer conversations.
• Experience working in a high-volume collections environment.
• Familiarity with skip-tracing tools and collection management systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Previous experience consistently meeting or exceeding collection goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Work toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulatory requirements.
