Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Remote Collections Specialist to join our team from a home office. You will manage inbound and outbound calls, negotiate settlements, and apply skip-tracing methods to locate borrowers while ensuring compliance with debt collection laws.

You'll work in a performance-driven environment with opportunities for additional compensation based on results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable collection laws and company policies.
