Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking remote Collections Specialists to join a nationwide team. This role focuses on inbound/outbound calls, negotiation of payment arrangements, and compliance with debt collection laws, all from a home-based office.

You’ll use skip-tracing tools, manage portfolios, and strive to meet individual and department goals while delivering professional, compliant service to borrowers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Experience negotiating payment arrangements and settlements.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening.
• Knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• Ability to maintain a professional remote workspace for confidential calls.
• Experience in high-volume collections environments.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements based on borrowers' finances.
• Use skip-tracing to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize activity.
• Meet or exceed individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate account documentation.
• Provide professional, respectful customer interactions while handling difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection laws and company policies.
