Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is hiring for remote Collections Specialists to join a nationwide team. You will negotiate resolutions, set up payment plans, and use skip-tracing to locate assets while maintaining professional communications and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Working knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.
• Ability to maintain a professional remote workspace for confidential conversations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiating payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilizing skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Managing assigned portfolios and prioritizing collection activities to maximize recovery.
• Working toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintaining accurate account documentation.
• Delivering professional, respectful interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable collection laws, company policies, and regulations.
