Experience in third-party debt collections, skip-tracing skills, and bilingual English/Spanish communication are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate settlements.
• Excellent verbal communication and phone etiquette.
• Knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• Ability to maintain a professional remote workspace for confidential conversations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers’ situations.
• Use skip-tracing and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned portfolios and prioritize activities to maximize recovery.
• Meet or exceed individual and department performance goals.
• Maintain detailed account documentation.
• Provide professional interactions while handling difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local laws and company policies.
