Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 (formerly ClassUp) is seeking experienced K-12 educators to tutor math or ELA to North America-based students. This is an independent contractor role with a flexible, set schedule of 50-minute 1-on-1 lessons held weekly.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, 3 years of K-12 teaching experience, reliable internet, and a commitment of at least 6 months. Compensation is $20 per class plus incentives; remote work from US or Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years of K-12 ELA or math teaching experience.
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards.
• Reliable internet and a Windows or Mac PC.
• Available 3-10 PM EST Mon–Fri or weekends; minimum 20 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction to students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
