Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 seeks experienced tutors to teach math or ELA to K-12 students in North America using the Cosmo curriculum. Each 50‑minute 1:1 session follows a set schedule you choose.

This independent contractor role pays $20 USD per class plus incentives. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree, 3 years teaching K-12, reliable internet, US or Canada location, at least 20 hours weekly, and availability 3–10 PM EST Mon–Fri or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching K-12 ELA or math.
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards.
• Fast and reliable internet connection.
• Access to a Windows or Mac PC.
• Available 3–10 PM EST Mon–Fri or weekends.
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability weekly.
• Located in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
