Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced tutors to deliver 1:1 math or ELA instruction to students based in North America. You set a flexible schedule and conduct 50-minute lessons through the Cosmo curriculum, meeting weekly at a set time after school.

As an independent contractor, you will be paid $20 USD per class plus incentives. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree, 3 years of relevant teaching experience, and access to a reliable internet connection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA or math.
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
