Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced educators to deliver 50-minute one-on-one tutoring to K-12 students based in North America, with a flexible schedule you set.

This independent contractor role pays $20 USD per class, with incentives, and requires a reliable internet connection, a suitable computer, and a commitment of at least 6 months. Classes run after school hours, Monday–Friday and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in education or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in grades K-12 in ELA or math.
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a Windows or Mac computer.
• Willing to commit to at least 6 months with Cosmo 1:1.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
