Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 (formerly ClassUp) is a premier online learning platform connecting K-12 students in the United States, Canada, and across Asia with tutors from top universities for personalized lessons.

As a 1:1 tutor you set a flexible schedule and teach math or ELA to North American students using the Cosmo curriculum, delivering 50-minute sessions. This independent contractor role pays $20 USD per class plus incentives; require a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience teaching K-12.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA or math.
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards.
• Currently located in the United States or Canada.
• Fast internet connection and a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff
