Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 seeks experienced K-12 educators to deliver 50-minute, one-on-one tutoring to students in North America using the Cosmo curriculum. Tutors set a flexible, consistent schedule and teach either math or ELA, with classes conducted online in a private, quiet space.

Independent contractor role with pay of $20 USD per class plus incentives. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 3 years of K-12 experience, and availability of 20+ hours weekly, including 3-10 PM EST on weekdays or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA or math.
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards.
• Must have fast, reliable internet and a Windows or Mac PC.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for students.
• Update availability in Cosmo App promptly.
• Prepare age-appropriate lesson materials.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate professionally with parents and students.
• Attend all classes on time in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
