Cosmo 1:1 tutors provide personalized 50-minute, one-on-one lessons to K-12 students across North America. You set a flexible schedule and teach either math or ELA using the Cosmo curriculum, delivering engaging, reliable instruction online.

This independent contractor role offers $20 per class plus incentives, requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of teaching experience, and expects 20+ hours of weekly availability with a professional home setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of K-12 ELA or math teaching experience.
• Experience teaching grades K-12 to meet standards.
• Fast, reliable internet and a Windows or Mac PC.
• Must be located in United States or Canada.
• Commitment of at least 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
