Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking qualified tutors for 1-on-1 math or ELA instruction with North American students. You’ll join an online platform and set a flexible weekly schedule with 50-minute sessions.

This independent contractor role requires a Bachelor’s Degree, 3+ years of K-12 teaching experience, and reliable tech setup. Candidates must reside in the United States or Canada and be available 3–10 PM EST or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA or math.
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards.
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1.
• Available between 3-10 PM EST Monday through Friday or during the weekends.
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability on a weekly basis.
• Currently located in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
