Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced K-12 tutors to deliver 50-minute one-on-one lessons to North American students using the Cosmo curriculum. You will schedule a consistent weekly slot, create a welcoming online classroom, and tailor each session to the student’s needs.

This remote, independent contractor role requires a Bachelor’s Degree, 3 years of teaching experience in ELA or Math, and reliable internet. You must be located in the United States or Canada and available 3–10 PM EST, with at

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA or math.
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards.
• Fast and reliable internet and a Windows or Mac PC with minimum CPU 6000.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months with Cosmo 1:1.
• Available 3–10 PM EST, Monday–Friday or weekends, with at least 20 hours weekly.
• Access to a private, quiet location.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for students.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
