Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is a premier online learning platform linking K-12 students with university tutors for personalized lessons. As a 1:1 tutor, you set a flexible weekly schedule to teach either math or ELA to students based in North America, using the Cosmo curriculum.

You will maintain a reliable, engaging online classroom and communicate with parents as needed. This independent contractor role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of teaching experience, with access to a quiet workspace and a fast

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching K-12 ELA or math.
• Must have fast and reliable internet and a Windows or Mac PC.
• Available 3–10 PM EST and at least 20 hours weekly.
• Based in United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
