Job summary

Cosmo 1:1, formerly ClassUp, is an online learning platform connecting K-12 students in the US, Canada, and across Asia with tutors from top Universities for personalized lessons. As a tutor, you will set a flexible schedule and teach math or ELA to North American students using the Cosmo curriculum.

This independent contractor role offers 50-minute 1-on-1 sessions with pay at $20 per class plus incentives. A reliable internet connection and a suitable computer are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and K-12 teaching experience.
• Minimum 3 years teaching grades K-12 ELA or math.
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a Windows or Mac PC.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App weekly.
• Prepare age- and ability-appropriate lesson materials.
• Submit feedback after each lesson to parents and Cosmo.
• Communicate with parents and Cosmo staff professionally.
• Attend all classes on time in a quiet, professional setting.
