Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 seeks experienced educators to provide 50-minute, 1-on-1 tutoring to K-12 students in North America using Cosmo curriculum. Tutors set a flexible weekly schedule and commit to a minimum six months.

This independent contractor role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3 years of teaching experience, reliable internet, and a quiet private space. Pay is $20 USD per class plus incentives; availability from 3-10 PM EST Mon-Fri or weekends, 20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA or math.
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards.
• Reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC.
• Private quiet workspace available for lessons.
• Willingness to commit to a minimum of 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for students.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App promptly.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for student age and ability.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
