Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 in North America seeks tutors to provide 50-minute one-on-one math or ELA lessons using the Cosmo curriculum.

As an independent contractor, you set a flexible schedule and teach online with a reliable home setup and fast internet.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree, 3 years of K-12 teaching experience, and be available 3–10 PM EST or weekends; 6 months+ commitment. Compensation is $20 per class with incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA or math.
• Experience with K-12 ELA or math standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff
