Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced educators to deliver 50-minute 1-on-1 math or ELA tutoring to North American students using the Cosmo curriculum. This is an independent contractor position with a flexible, self-set schedule.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS, at least 3 years of K-12 teaching experience, familiarity with standards, a fast private internet connection, and a quiet home workspace in the United States or Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching K-12 ELA or math.
• Live in United States or Canada with availability 3–10 PM EST on weekdays or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff
