Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced tutors to deliver 50-minute 1-on-1 lessons to K-12 students, using Cosmo curriculum. You set a consistent weekly schedule and teach remotely to North American learners.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL, reliable internet, and access to a PC or Mac. Availability 3–10 PM EST Mon–Fri or weekends, and a minimum of 20 hours weekly are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• 3+ years teaching K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• Fast, reliable internet and a Windows/Mac PC.
• Commit to at least 6 months with Cosmo 1:1.
• Based in United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App promptly.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
