Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced educators to tutor K-12 students in North America via online lessons using Cosmo curriculum. You will meet students weekly for 50-minute 1 on 1 sessions in a flexible, independent contractor role.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, 3 years of K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL teaching experience, reliable internet, and can commit to at least 6 months. Availability is 3–10 PM EST, Mon–Fri or weekends, with a minimum 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years of teaching experience for grades K-12 (ELA/ESL/EFL).
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for students.
• Update availability in Cosmo App.
• Prepare lesson materials suited to student age and ability.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
