Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced educators to connect with K-12 students in the US, Canada, and Asia for personalized 1:1 lessons using the Cosmo curriculum.

You will teach students based in North America with a flexible schedule, meeting weekly for 50 minutes per session. A Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of relevant teaching experience are required, with reliable internet and a private, quiet workspace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• Fast and reliable internet connection with a Windows or Mac PC.
• Minimum 6 months commitment to Cosmo 1:1.
• Available 3–10 PM EST Mon–Fri or weekends.
• Minimum 20 hours of availability weekly.
• Private and quiet teaching location.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for students.
• Update availability in Cosmo App.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate professionally with parents and students.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
