Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced tutors to deliver one-on-one ELA instruction to K-12 students located in North America. You decide your schedule and teach 50-minute sessions weekly through the Cosmo curriculum.

The role emphasizes reliability, preparation, and a friendly, patient online teaching style. You must have a Bachelor’s degree, 3 years of K-12 ELA teaching experience, and a suitable home setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA/ESL/EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards preferred.
• Must have fast, reliable internet and a computer (Windows or Mac) with modern specs.
• Ability to commit to 6+ months and 20+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for students.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App promptly.
• Prepare age- and ability-appropriate lesson materials.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate professionally with parents and students.
• Attend classes on time in a suitable online setting.
• Collaborate with Cosmo staff as needed.
