Job summary

Cosmo is seeking a 1:1 tutor to deliver personalized English language instruction to K-12 students based in North America through the Cosmo platform. You control a flexible, recurring weekly schedule and teach 50-minute 1:1 lessons using the Cosmo curriculum.

The role is an independent contractor position with compensation of $20 USD per class plus incentives. You must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL teaching experience, with reliable internet and a suitable

Qualifications

• 3 years of teaching experience in grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• Fast and reliable internet connection and PC/Mac availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff
