Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 seeks an experienced educator to provide 50-minute 1-on-1 lessons to North America-based students using the Cosmo curriculum. You control a flexible, consistent schedule in an after-school setting as an independent contractor.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree, 3 years of K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL teaching, reliable internet, and availability 3–10 PM EST Mon–Fri or weekends, with at least 20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years of teaching experience in K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff
