Job summary

Housing Opportunities Unlimited is seeking a Relocation Coordinator to manage daily relocation tasks, liaise with residents, and coordinate with vendors and property management to ensure smooth relocations. The role emphasizes compliance with regulations, thorough documentation, and proactive communication.

The coordinator will lead meetings, track progress, and support residents through move planning, with a strong focus on customer service and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in relocation services, social services, customer service or similar fields preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work with diverse populations and communicate with multiple stakeholder groups.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident relocation surveys to understand needs and preferences.
• Convene resident meetings to discuss relocation process and rights.
• Prepare notices and track proof of receipt.
• Provide relocation counseling in accordance with regulations.
• Coordinate information flow between HOU, management, clients and residents.
• Produce weekly/monthly reports and maintain relocation files and databases.
• Schedule and supervise moves and related tasks.
• Coordinate with construction and moving contractors to ensure vacated units.
