Housing Opportunities Unlimited seeks a Resident Relocation Coordinator to manage daily relocation tasks across multiple sites, coordinating with residents, vendors, and property management. The role emphasizes empathetic support, data tracking, and regulatory compliance to ensure smooth relocations.

You will oversee notices, assessments, and communications, maintaining thorough records and delivering guidance throughout the relocation process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Spanish speaker preferred.
• Experience in relocation services, social services, or customer service is preferred.
• Provide verbal interpretation and translations if needed for residents.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to multitask and prioritize across multiple projects.
• Able to work evenings and Saturdays.
• Self-directed and able to work independently.
• Willing to learn and take on more responsibilities.
• Diversity and cultural competency valued.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate site setup activities and identify vendors.
• Survey residents to assess relocation needs and preferences.
• Inventory tenant belongings and note large items, infestation, clutter, or hoarding.
• Facilitate resident and community meetings on relocation rights and benefits.
• Prepare notices and track proofs of receipt.
• Provide relocation counseling in line with regulations.
• Liaise between HOU, property management, clients, and residents.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports for clients and team.
• Maintain relocation files, data tracking, and eligibility records.
• Create meeting agendas and distribute minutes within 48 hours.
• Inspect units for compliance before offering relocation units.
• Notify residents of move-in dates and provide ongoing support.
