Job summary

The Resident Relocation Coordinator at Housing Opportunities Unlimited oversees daily relocation tasks across multiple sites, coordinating with residents, vendors, and property management to ensure smooth moves. The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to regulatory compliance.

You will manage relocation files, track progress, provide counseling, and report regularly to clients and the project team while representing HOU at events and maintaining our mission

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience in relocation or social services preferred.
• Ability to interpret languages and translate as needed.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site setup activities and vendor identification.
• Survey residents to assess relocation needs and preferences.
• Inventory tenant belongings and assess conditions including large furniture, infestation, clutter, and hoarding.
• Prepare notices and maintain proof of receipt of notices.
• Provide relocation counseling and compliance with regulations.
• Liaise between HOU, property management, clients, and residents.
• Maintain relocation files and data-tracking reports.
• Schedule and supervise moves and related tasks.
• Provide weekly/monthly reports to clients and project team.
