Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Systems Protection Relay Settings Engineering Manager to lead and grow our engineering team while shaping technical strategy for critical power projects.

You will supervise engineers across offices, coordinate with the Engineering Director, and ensure QA/QC and project cost, quality, and schedule targets are met. This role may be based in multiple U.S. locations including Raleigh, NC.

Qualifications

• BS EE from ABET-accredited school; MS in Engineering Management or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in management within the energy sector.
• Experience in systems protection and relay settings.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering supervision and leadership to meet project demands.
• Develop, nurture and maintain relationships with senior-level engineering and client stakeholders.
• Coordinate work across engineering offices and cross-train for multi-client standards.
• Present technical solutions to key customers and respond to questions in real time.
• Oversee QA/QC processes and ensure design packages meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Lead internal training programs and participate in project kickoff meetings.
