Job summary

Qualus in the United States invites applications for a Systems Protection Relay Settings Engineering Manager to hire, develop, and grow a dedicated engineering team while shaping technical strategy and culture.

Based in Florida with flexibility to collaborate across offices, you will provide technical oversight, lead project delivery, and partner with the Engineering Director to meet department goals and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from ABET-accredited school; MS in Engineering can substitute.
• Master's in Engineering Management or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in management within the energy sector.
• Experience in systems protection and relay settings.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering supervision and leadership to meet project demands.
• Coordinates with Engineering Director and oversees engineers.
• Develops relationships with senior clients and manages cross-office resources.
• Presents technical solutions to customers and addresses concerns.
• Ensures QA/QC and adherence to process; manages training.
• Participates in project kickoff meetings and controls costs/schedules.
