Job summary

VyStar Credit Union in Florida is seeking a Relationship Specialist I to deliver outstanding member experiences both in person and by phone. You will identify member needs, cross-sell financial solutions, and help grow consumer and business relationships.

Responsibilities include handling deposits, loans, account openings, and services like notary and wire transfers while maintaining compliance and a professional presence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Associate’s degree is preferred.
• Previous sales or customer service experience, preferably with a financial institution.
• Ability to process accurate transactions and requests.
• Proficient in Internet and Microsoft Office.
• Outgoing personality with a strong desire to help people.
• Must maintain professional appearance and attitude.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and sales skills are essential.
• Stand for extended periods during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide unbelievable member experiences in-person and by phone.
• Identify member cues and ask open-ended discovery questions.
• Grow consumer and business relationships by identifying member needs.
• Handle personal and business account transactions, open accounts, and process loan applications.
• Explain basics of credit and savings options and refer to more complex products.
• Provide services such as notary, wire transfer, and other member needs.
• Support Credit Union initiatives and campaigns while complying with guidelines.
• Escalate complex concerns and maintain professional integrity.
