Job summary

Citizens Bank seeks a customer-focused banker to build relationships and provide trusted financial guidance. You will help customers with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs, while introducing digital and mobile banking tools.

You will collaborate with Wealth Management and Mortgage teams to address more complex financial needs and may make outbound calls to acquire new customers. Branch hours include weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide trusted advice and build lasting relationships with customers.
• Offer financial solutions across spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile banking options (app/ATMs).
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkup appointments.
