Job summary

Citizens Bankers are the face of the branch, building lasting relationships by providing trusted advice and financial solutions. You’ll guide customers through spending, saving, borrowing and investing while promoting digital banking options.

The role involves outbound calls to acquire new customers, collaboration with Wealth Management and Mortgage partners, and adherence to all policies including cash handling and regulatory requirements. Branch hours may include weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in‑person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self‑motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including ... pre‑employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions across spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile banking options via app or ATMs.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
• Follow all financial policies and procedures, including cash handling and regulatory requirements.
