Job summary

Citizens is seeking an energetic branch banker to build lasting relationships, understanding customers’ financial goals and offering trusted advice. You’ll handle everyday banking needs, promote digital tools, and collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams to tailor solutions.

Expect outbound calls and adherence to all cash handling and regulatory policies. The role emphasizes customer service, sales, and a flexible schedule, with competitive pay and benefits

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide trusted financial guidance and support customers with banking solutions.
• Help customers with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile-first banking options.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
• Follow all financial policies and procedures including cash handling.
