Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regular customer service professional for our Florida branch to provide industry leading client service both in person and via phone. You will develop and expand client relationships while offering financial solutions through consultative conversations and referrals.

The role includes cross-training to perform teller duties as needed, supporting sales goals, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and risk policies in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment in this role, including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and occasional weekends/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests and problem resolution.
• Contributes to meeting client service and sales targets by developing and retaining relationships.
• Supports sales process by consulting with clients and referring complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through training.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies.
