Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Regular Retail Banking Professional to deliver industry-leading client service both in person and by phone, while developing new and existing client relationships.

You will expand financial solutions through consultative conversations and referrals, support teller duties as needed, and contribute to branch sales targets by offering deposit, credit and retirement products to consumer and small business clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years in client sales and service
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building relationships
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with clients and prospects
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days and pass NMLS background checks
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints; occasional travel for staffing needs
• Weekend and extended hours may be required

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced client maintenance and sales support across deposit, credit, and service lines
• Contribute to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets
• Refer complex needs to internal specialists and support the sales process
• Participate in leadership routines and sales meetings; ongoing product knowledge training
• Assist with teller duties and greeting clients to ensure a smooth experience
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies
• Uncover client needs through courteous conversation and transactions
