Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a branch banking associate who thrives on helping customers and building relationships. You’ll discuss financial needs, offer trusted advice, and guide clients toward appropriate solutions for spending, saving, borrowing, and investing.

You’ll introduce customers to digital and mobile banking, work with Wealth Management and Mortgage teams for complex needs, and make outbound calls to grow the customer base. Excellent communication and service orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, meeting or exceeding goals.
• Ability to ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships and recommending products through in-person and phone interactions.
• Skills in using digital technology to support business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues; collaboration with teammates and partners.
• Self-motivation, confidence, and multitasking ability.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
• SAFE Act pre-employment screening and NMLS identifier requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions across spending, saving, borrowing, and investing.
• Get to know customers' personal financial goals and tailor solutions to help achieve them.
• Introduce customers to digital/mobile banking through the app or ATMs.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkup appointments.
