Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a friendly, outgoing Bank Associate to serve as the face of the branch. You will build trusting relationships with customers, offering sound financial advice and tailored solutions for spending, saving, borrowing and investing.

You’ll promote digital banking, work with Wealth Management and Mortgage partners, and make outbound calls to grow the customer base while meeting regulatory requirements. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, meeting/exceeding goals.
• Ability to identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships and recommending products via in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills using digital technology to support business goals.
• Aptitude to solve problems and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Ability to collaborate with teammates, partners and specialists.
• Self-motivated, confident and able to multitask.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends/evenings.
• Meet SAFE Act requirements including pre-employment checks and NMLS ID.

Responsibilities

• Provide trusted financial advice and build lasting relationships with customers.
• Offer recommendations and assist with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Help customers plan for goals like home buying or new credit cards.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile banking apps and ATMs.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
• Follow all financial policies and cash handling procedures.
