Job summary

Citizens Bankers are the face of the branch, building lasting relationships by providing trusted advice on spending, saving, borrowing and investing. You’ll help customers meet goals like planning for the future, buying a home, or opening a credit card.

You’ll be introduced to digital banking tools and collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Business Banking teams. A 40-hour work week and weekend/evening hours may apply, with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship
• Proven success with building relationships and recommending services through in-person and phone interactions
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support business goals
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
• Ability to work with teammates, partners and specialists through collaboration
• Self-motivated, confident and able to multitask effectively
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings
• Meet SAFE Act requirements including pre-employment checks and NMLS identifier

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions for spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs
• Get to know customers’ personal financial goals and tailor solutions to help achieve them
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile-first ways to handle banking transactions
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams for complex needs
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups
• Follow all financial policies and local/state regulations including cash handling
