Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a branch associate who will be the face of the bank, building relationships and offering trusted financial advice. You will help customers with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs, while guiding them to digital banking tools and coordinating with Wealth Management and Mortgage teams for complex needs.

The role requires strong communication, sales and problem-solving skills, with flexibility to work weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED is required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Meet SAFE Act requirements and complete pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide sound financial recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions.
• Help customers with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile banking options (app/ATMs).
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking to address complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
