Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Regular teller/relationship specialist to deliver industry-leading client service in person and over the phone in a retail banking setting. You will develop and expand client relationships while offering financial solutions and cross-selling with other specialists as needed.

The role includes potential teller duties and requires proficiency in building rapport, meeting service and sales targets, and complying with all policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days, including background checks.
• Ability to multitask under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Execute advanced client maintenance requests, resolve problems, and perform sales functions (deposits, credit, services).
• Help meet client service and branch sales targets by developing and expanding relationships.
• Conduct consultative conversations and refer complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training and meetings to grow sales and product knowledge.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies; stay compliant.
• Engage clients with friendly service during transactions and assist with teller duties as needed.
