Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Regular Retail Banking professional in the United States to deliver outstanding client service and expand client relationships. You will perform teller duties when needed and drive sales by consulting with clients on banking solutions.

Responsibilities include handling client requests, advising on loans, and maintaining compliance with internal controls. This role requires strong communication and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by offering products and developing and retaining relationships.
• Supports team sales by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through training and learning opportunities.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies and stays informed of policy changes.
• Leads sales initiatives within the branch and acts as an expert resource.
• Delivers professional client service with a friendly, transactional approach and uncovers client needs.
