Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regular full-time Relationship Banker to deliver industry-leading client service in person and over the phone, while expanding client relationships and cross-selling financial solutions. The role includes potential teller duties and requires staying up to date with policies and product knowledge.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 2 years of sales/service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced branch environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• SAFE compliance within 30 days of employment with NMLS checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs and possible weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced client maintenance and handling of deposits, credit and service lines.
• Help meet client service and branch sales targets by expanding relationships.
• Refer complex needs to internal specialists to support growth.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank leadership routines.
• Build product knowledge through training and meetings to better serve clients.
• Advise on consumer lending options and process loan applications.
• Follow internal controls and risk management policies to ensure compliance.
• Greet clients and assist with transactions to ensure a consistent service experience.
