Job summary

Truist offers a Regular or Temporary Retail Banking role focusing on delivering industry-leading client service in person and by phone. You will build and expand client relationships, provide financial solutions, and be cross-trained to perform teller duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work weekends/extended hours.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment and meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit and other product lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by offering products and services to develop and retain relationships.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to risk management policies and internal controls.
• Engages clients with courteous conversation while conducting transactions and identifies additional needs.
