Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regular full-time teller/relationship assistant in the United States. The role emphasizes delivering an industry-leading client service experience, expanding client relationships, and providing financial solutions through consultative conversations and referrals to partners.

The position includes cross-training to perform teller duties as needed, with a focus on meeting branch sales targets and delivering a high level of service to both consumer and business clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building client relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• SAFE compliance within 30 days, including NMLS checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs and occasional weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry-leading client service in person and by phone.
• Develop and expand client relationships to meet growth targets.
• Refer complex needs to internal specialists within the bank.
• Participate in branch leadership routines and meetings.
• Attend training to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Greet clients and facilitate teller transactions when needed.
