Job summary

Santander Bank, N.A. is hiring a Relationship Banker I to serve Banking Center customers, drive sales, deliver excellent service, and support daily operations. You’ll process transactions, learn customer needs, and build trust through active listening and solutions.

The role requires 3–4 years in customer service and banking sales, ability to work a rotating schedule, and strong product knowledge. Compliance, teamwork, and cross‑segment partnerships are key to achieving branch goals.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of customer service and needs-based banking sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible and/or rotating schedule; weekends and extended hours may be required.
• Travel may be required to alternate Banking Centers.
• Self-starter and highly motivated.
• Working knowledge of all bank products and services.
• Keeps current with all systems used for branch transaction processing.
• Demonstrates strong customer service skills and ability to support teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customers’ needs accurately and timely using available resources.
• Evaluate client needs and offer appropriate financial products through needs-based conversations.
• Perform routine teller transactions: deposits, withdrawals, check cash, loan payments.
• Support segmentation strategy to drive branch growth and profitability.
• Strive to achieve/exceed individual and team sales, service, and operations goals.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and bank policies; meet audits and evaluations.
